Why do your analytics, ad platforms, and CRM all show different numbers — and what do you actually do about it?

Stackgap is an Australian managed signal integrity service that recovers, validates, and monitors your marketing signals server-side — so every platform in your stack finally tells the same story.

Fully managed and independently supported. Before you commit to anything, we'll show you exactly what you're losing and what it's costing you.

Built for teams that need more than a basic tracking setup – and want ongoing signal reliability, validation, and visibility.

    Why Stackgap?

Modern digital marketing depends on reliable signals – from both user activity and the systems across your marketing stack.

But signal quality is under pressure.

Browser restrictions, ad blockers, consent complexity, CRM and ecommerce mismatches, and constant platform changes can create blind spots in reporting and optimisation. What your pixel reports, what analytics reports, and what your CRM reports can quickly drift apart.

This gets even more painful when teams move from ROAS to POAS.

Returns, cancellations, discounting, offline sales, and delayed CRM outcomes can change the real picture fast – while platforms keep optimising off incomplete or inconsistent data.

Stackgap exists to close that gap.

We help teams recover, validate, and monitor conversion signals server-side so they can make better decisions with more confidence.

    Who's behind Stackgap

Stackgap was founded by David Kloeber, a Melbourne-based digital marketing specialist with a background in performance media and marketing analytics. Through his consulting practice at davidkloeber.com, David works with mid-market businesses across Australia on Google Ads and paid media strategy — and saw firsthand how broken tracking data was quietly undermining campaign performance and business decisions.

Stackgap exists because most businesses don't need another SaaS tool. They need an expert who can find where their data is breaking, fix it, and keep watching it over time.

Every Stackgap engagement is personally delivered and overseen by David — not outsourced to a junior team or automated away.

    What Stackgap does

Stackgap is a done-for-you signal reliability layer that sits between your web properties and your marketing stack.

We reduce reliance on fragile client-side tracking by recovering, processing, validating, and routing cleaner signals server-side.

    What improves with Stackgap

    Signal reliability

    Fewer missed or broken events

    Data confidence

Clearer alignment across platforms, analytics, and internal reporting

    Faster issue detection

Dashboards and alerts surface problems earlier

    Tracking resilience

Less fragility as your website, tools, and consent setup evolve

    Better optimisation inputs

Cleaner signals for bidding, reporting, and performance reviews

    What we mean by "signals"

When we say signals, we mean the data points your marketing and analytics systems depend on to measure and optimise performance.

    Events

Page views, leads, form submissions, add-to-cart, purchases, subscriptions, qualified actions

    Identifiers

Transaction IDs, click IDs, user/session identifiers, UTMs, source/medium values

    Values & Outcomes

Revenue, discounts, returns, cancellations, offline sales, CRM status changes, lead quality markers

    How it works

A structured approach to signal recovery and signal assurance

    Phase 1

    Assess & deploy

    Audit your signal flow

Map your current tracking setup, key events, identifiers, and destinations. Identify where signal loss, duplication, or mismatches are happening.

    Deploy server-side recovery

Implement a server-side signal collection and routing layer tailored to your stack and priorities.

    Prioritise what matters most

Focus first on the events and outcomes that directly affect reporting, optimisation, and business decisions.

    Phase 2

    Validate & monitor

    Validate signal quality

Compare key values and event payloads across systems to identify mismatches, missing fields, and routing issues.

    Monitor signal health

Surface signal health through dashboards and alerts so issues are caught early – before they impact reporting or campaign performance.

    Create visibility for your team

Give marketers and stakeholders a clearer picture of what is being captured, routed, and trusted.

    Phase 3

    Improve over time

    Refine mappings and routing logic

Improve delivery reliability as your campaigns, website, and platforms change.

    Strengthen data confidence

Continuously reduce gaps between ad platforms, analytics, and internal data sources.

    Support evolving measurement needs

Adapt the setup as your team moves into more advanced reporting, attribution, or value-based measurement.

What you get in a Stackgap pilot

A practical, implementation-focused pilot to improve signal reliability and prove value quickly.

    Pilot deliverables

    • Signal gap audit (events, identifiers, values, destinations)
    • Recommended signal recovery priorities
    • Server-side signal collection/routing setup (pilot scope)
    • Validation checks for key events and values
    • Signal health dashboard and/or alerting setup
    • Implementation notes and handover documentation
    • Review call with findings, risks, and next-step recommendations

    Typical pilot outcome

By the end of the pilot, you should have:

    • A clearer picture of where signal loss and mismatches exist
    • A working server-side recovery layer for priority signals
    • Visibility into signal health
    • A roadmap for ongoing reliability improvements

Pilots are scoped and delivered as fixed-fee projects. Book a call to discuss your stack and receive a proposal.

    Who Stackgap is for

    A good fit

    • In-house marketing teams running paid media across multiple platforms
    • E-commerce brands that rely on accurate conversion and revenue signals
    • Agencies managing accounts where tracking quality affects performance decisions
    • Performance agencies looking for a white-label signal integrity partner for their client accounts
    • Businesses with CRM, ecommerce, and platform reporting mismatches
    • Teams that want ongoing monitoring – not just a one-off setup

    Not the best fit (yet)

    • Teams looking for a quick self-serve app install only
    • Very simple websites with minimal measurement needs
    • Businesses not using conversion data for optimisation or reporting decisions

Why not just use an app or standard setup?

Apps and templates can be great for standard use cases. But many teams outgrow "set and forget" tracking when they need:

    Custom routing logic
    Cross-platform consistency
    Deeper QA and validation
    Ongoing monitoring and alerts
Implementation support across a changing stack

Stackgap is built for teams that need recovery and reliability.

We don't just help recover signals – we help you validate them, monitor them, and keep them healthy over time.
